Dish: Turning on IR Reception

overview the newer dish cable/satellite set top boxes that use the remotes pictured below have a an ir (infrared) reception setting that must be turned on for the jubileetv console to control them if you're stuck on the screen below while configuring your dish box, please follow the instructions below to turn on ir reception instructions important you will need to use your dish remote (one of the remotes pictured above) to change settings on your dish box press the home button on your dish remote navigate to menu > settings > remote control scroll to the bottom and turn on infrared reception when you're done turning on the infrared reception setting, press the green check button on the jubileetv remote to proceed to testing control
