the console to sense movement optimal range accuracy is highest when the user is 5–15 feet directly in front of the console console camera cover presence detection requires the camera cover to be open if the physical privacy cover is closed, the system will not detect presence or update the activity feed regarding room activity presence detection the system does not identify specific individuals (such as the tv end user) it only detects the total number of people present in the camera’s field of vision hardware compatibility presence and activity detection are available only on the current jubileetv console (top of tv mount) if you have a classic console (purchased prior to august 2024), presence and activity detection are not supported configuring the feed the activity feed begins in a basic state and is not fully optimized until an admin completes the one time activity feed setup wizard to begin, the primary admin or a contact admin simply taps the activity feed card on the app home screen during this setup wizard, you will configure your initial settings to tailor the system to your family's needs all of these preferences can be adjusted at any time, as outlined in the activity feed settings section below activity feed settings settings fall into two main categories global (system wide changes that impact all users) and personal (individual changes that only affect your own app experience) jubileetv vision (global) jubileetv vision utilizes the camera on the console to sense room presence and activity levels if enabled, presence and activity levels will be reported and visible to the primary admin and all contact admins if disabled, presence and activity levels will not be reported to anyone how to adjust select the activity feed card on the home screen tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner select jubileetv vision from the menu to open the jubileetv vision screen from here, toggle jubileetv vision on or off general settings (global) these settings dictate what media and events the activity feed automatically captures for the primary admin and contact admins tv on/off photos automatically captures an image whenever the tv is turned on or off presence photos captures an image when the number of people in the room changes (e g , someone enters an empty room) or when a single person shifts between active and stationary states to help you easily identify what triggered the event, jubileetv places a green rectangular outline around each person detected in the photo detect sneezes and coughs records a text based event in the feed (no image captured) whenever a sneeze or cough is detected how to adjust select the activity feed card on the home screen tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner select photo & notification settings make your adjustments under the settings tab personal settings (individual) these settings only apply to your specific user profile daily summary email opt in to receive a convenient summary button to clear all images at once false presence detections occasionally, the activity feed algorithm may mistakenly identify inanimate objects or movements—such as a portrait on the wall, a window reflection, or a shifting shadow—as a person if presence photos is enabled within your activity feed settings, you can review the captured images to identify false detections and take one or both of the following actions 1\ report a false detection if you notice an event trigger that does not match what is actually happening in the photo, you can report it directly to jubileetv our technology team uses these reports to continuously train, refine, and improve the accuracy of the activity feed algorithm for everyone learn more how to report activity feed false detections docid\ oqbdtqi8togbcmdr04vkn 2\ set up an ignore zone if a specific area in the room (like a window or a wall with framed photos) consistently triggers the system to report someone is present when no one is there, you can set up an ignore zone this tells the camera to completely bypass that specific spot when scanning for presence for more on ignore zones and how to set them up, see how to set up an
