JubileeTV Console
My JubileeTV Console is offline
The JubileeTV Console must be connected to the internet to function properly. Here are the primary reasons why your JubileeTV Console might be offline:
- There is no power to the Console (i.e. the Console was unplugged or there was an irregular power event, such as a power outage)
- The internet connection for the Console is not working. The easiest way to determine if this is the culprit is to see if other devices are disconnected from the internet.
If you have verified the above two items are normal, power cycle the Console by unplugging it from power > wait 10 seconds > plug it back in.
If you notice that your JubileeTV Console is offline regularly, there might be an issue with your internet connection or network. Try moving your JubileeTV Console closer to your wi-fi router, or consider connecting your Console to a wired network.
I can't control my devices with the JubileeTV remote
If you never had control: Verify that you selected the correct device and the correct TV when you originally installed. If you did, we recommend you contact JubileeTV Support for additional assistance.
If you originally had control, but now you don't: The first thing you should check is if the JubileeTV remote is connecting to the Console. You can do this by pressing the "blue J" button on the top right of the remote. If the Home Screen loads, then the remote is connected. Additionally, you can look in the JubileeTV app. If the remote is not connected to the Console, you will see a note in the app with that information.
If your JubileeTV remote is connected to the Console and you don't have control of your devices, you should troubleshoot IR control. The first thing to do is to make sure that nothing is blocking the line of sight from the JubileeTV Console to the source devices and the TV. If something is blocking this line of sight, reposition the devices and check for control.
If you are not using the IR blasters included with JubileeTV, install them. You plug one end into back of the Console and then place the puck-like circles near your source devices and TV.
If the device you cannot control is a Roku, this could mean that the IP connection between the Roku and the JubileeTV Console is not working. Verify that the Console and the Roku are both connected to the internet and then try again.
