How It Works

When a JubileeTV App User starts a Drop In session using the JubileeTV App, they will immediately be able to see the feed from the JubileeTV Console camera and hear the audio from the microphone on the JubileeTV Console.

Drop In is a one-way engagement: the TV User will not hear or see the JubileeTV App user. If you have a need for the TV User to hear or see the JubileeTV App user, we recommend using a Video Call or AutoConnect Video Call.

The TV User is not provided with any on-screen notification that Drop In is active. When Drop In is active, the JubileeTV Console camera is in use so the 4th LED light on the JubileeTV Console will be green.

Drop In is specific to a single JubileeTV Console. If you have multiple JubileeTV Consoles in your Membership, you will need to select the Console you would like to use with Drop In.

Drop In uses the microphone embedded in the JubileeTV Console, not the microphone in the JubileeTV remote.

Please note: if the manual camera cover is activated on the JubileeTV Consle, the JubileeTV Console camera will still be activated. However, the feed/view from the camera will be obscured based on the manual camera cover.
