overview note this feature is being released starting march 18, 2026 and will be available to all users by april 1, 2026 a stable internet connection is the backbone of the jubileetv experience high quality network performance is essential for real time features like video calling , telescope , and drop in to function smoothly to help you ensure a seamless connection, jubileetv gives you the tools to run network tests directly from the app or the console these built in tools allow you to quickly verify the connection health of the jubileetv console ensuring the hardware at your loved one’s home has the bandwidth it needs your mobile device or computer confirming that the smartphone, tablet, or computer you are using to run the jubileetv app is ready for high quality streaming running a test from the app a network test can be run from the app by the primary admin or a contact admin when a network test is conducted from the app, the system performs a dual connection check this single test simultaneously analyzes both the console’s connection to its local network and the app device's connection to the internet this provides a complete picture of the communication path between the app user and the tv end user to run the test, follow these steps access hub details from the app home screen, tap the gear icon located to the right of the room name open the details tab select the details tab at the top of the screen navigate to network quality scroll down to the network details section and tap network quality start the test select "run comprehensive speed test" to begin the analysis running a test from the console when you run a test directly from the console, it focuses specifically on the local network health at the tv end user's home open settings on the jubileetv remote, press the guide button three times, then press the blue j button once you can also access console settings via telescope by typing "settings" into the command field select network click on the network tile start the test select "run network test" to begin the connection analysis
