overview the jubileetv experience can be tailored to the specific needs of the tv end user by adjusting the hub settings for each console permissions user type permission primary admin yes yes contact admin yes yes contact no no tv end user no no accessing hub settings to modify the configuration for a specific console, follow these steps within the jubileetv app select the hub on the app home screen, find the room name for the console you wish to adjust tap the gear icon located to the right of the room name open settings once the hub menu opens, tap the "settings" tab at the top of the screen adjust & save browse the categories and make your desired changes confirm changes scroll to the very bottom of the page and tap "save changes" to ensure your new settings are applied to the console hub settings room name select the name that best matches the location of the console (e g , living room, bedroom) tv microphone choose which microphone the system uses during video calls remote mic (default) best for clear audio while sitting on a couch console mic uses the microphones built into the hub note if "voice biomarkers" is enabled, the system will automatically use the console mic camera behavior determines if video calls and autoconnect video calls start with the console camera on or off this setting is on by default tv live captions enable or disable real time text during video calls if enabled, you can also select the text size (small, medium, or large) to suit the tv end user’s needs this setting is off by default remote backlight the jubileetv remote features a built in motion sensor that detects when the remote is picked up or moved you can configure when the buttons light up to balance visibility with battery life always on the buttons will light up every time motion is detected, regardless of the time of day (note this setting uses the most battery power) always off the buttons will never light up, even when the remote is moved this is the most battery efficient setting off from 9 00 am – 6 00 pm (default) the backlight remains inactive during daylight hours to save battery the buttons will only light up when motion is detected outside of this window (from 6 01 pm to 8 59 am) note this schedule is based on the local timezone of the jubileetv console automatically turn tv off you can set a specific time of day for the tv to power down (e g , 11 00 pm) this setting is off by default note this schedule is based on the local timezone of the jubileetv console power on to power off timer if the tv is turned on by a system event (like a video call or a reminder) and no one interacts with the tv, the system will automatically turn the tv back off after the set time has elapsed options are 5 minutes 15 minutes (default) 30 minutes 1 hour 2 hours 4 hours don't power off tv
