Using Multiple Consoles
Overview
A single JubileeTV Membership supports multiple Consoles for one TV End User. This allows you to bring the JubileeTV experience to multiple rooms in the same home.
Important: JubileeTV is designed as a single-residence system. If you install Consoles in multiple residence, some features may not work as expected.
How It Works
Each Console operates its own TV "station," but they all belong to the same Membership.
What you need for each room
Each TV requires its own dedicated setup. You cannot "share" these items between Consoles:
- A JubileeTV Console and Voice Remote
- A TV
- Source devices (Cable/satellite set-top box, Roku, etc.)
- Power supply and Smart Plug
What stays "In Sync"
When you have multiple Consoles, they work together as a single system. The following items are system-wide, meaning a change or notification on one will affect all Consoles in the home.
System Settings & Preferences
- JubileeTV Usage ModesUsage Mode: Changing the Usage Mode (e.g., from Interactive Mode to Passive Mode) updates all Consoles simultaneously.
- TV Interface SettingsTV Interface Setting: If you enable or disable specific features, such as the Messaging, those changes apply to every TV.
- Contacts: Any family member or friend connected to the JubileeTV account has access to all Consoles within that Membership.
Communication & Content
- Video CallingVideo Calls: All connected TVs will ring at once. As soon as the call is answered on one TV, the others will stop ringing automatically.
- Messages & Reminders: Any message or Reminder sent to the TV User appears on every screen. Once it is acknowledged or dismissed on one TV, the pop-up is cleared from the others.
- Photos & Videos: Any media shared by the family is accessible across all Consoles, allowing the TV User to view their gallery from any room.
What is NOT synced across consoles
While your account is unified, some features are specific to the hardware in each room. The following items must be configured for each individual Console:
FavoritesFavorites
Because each room might have different equipment (for example, a cable/satellite set-top box in the living room but a Roku in the bedroom), Favorites are managed separately.
- Action Required: You will need to set up your favorite channels and apps for each Console individually.
Activity FeedThe Activity Feed
Each Console maintains its own history of what has been watched or accessed in that specific room.
- Activity History: The Activity Feed will only show events that occurred in a specific room and on a specific TV.
- Settings: Notifications and preferences for the Activity Feed must be adjusted for each Console independently.
How to Add an Additional Console
Only the Primary Admin of a JubileeTV Membership can add an additional Console to an account. The process depends on whether you are currently renting your equipment or if you purchased it from a third-party retailer.
If you purchased via GetJubileeTV.com
If you purchased directly from our website, you are renting your equipment. To add a console:
- Log in to serviceplan.getjubileetv.com
- Select Manage Service Plan to access the Service Plan Management portal.
- On the Additional Console card, select Add.
- Once your new Console arrives, follow the included instructions to complete the setup.
If You Purchased via a Third Party (e.g., Amazon)
If you purchased from a third party, you own your hardware. To add a console:
- Go to the original store you ordered JubileeTV (e.g., Amazon) and tap the Account Menu in the top-right corner.
- Purchase the new JubileeTV hardware.
- Set up the Console once it arrives.
Important: When prompted for an email address during setup, use the same email address associated with your existing JubileeTV account to ensure the devices are linked correctly.
Pricing
The price of adding JubileeTV to another TV in the TV End User's residence depends on where you purchased you initially purchased JubileeTV.
If you purchased from GetJubileeTV.com
This means you are renting your hardware directly. You can add extra Consoles to the same household at a discounted rate.
Plan Type | Cost (per additional Console) |
|---|---|
Monthly | $19 / month |
Annual | $149 / year |
All-In | $249 (one-time charge) |
If you purchased from a 3rd Party (e.g., Amazon)
Because you own the hardware, there are no additional subscription fees for adding extra Consoles to the same household. The only cost is that of the hardware itself, which you can pick up at your preferred 3rd-party retailer.
