# Console Firmware

The JubileeTV Console stays current by **updating automatically overnight**. If the Console is in use while the update goes live, a message appears on the TV with the options to update now or dismiss the message. If dismissed, the system automatically re-attempts the update the following night. Staying up to date ensures your system remains fast, secure, and fully compatible.

## To manually update the Console firmware

### 1. Access Settings:

- **Via Remote:** Press the **GUIDE **button three times, then press the **blue J **button once on the JubileeTV remote.
- **Via Telescope: **Starting a Telescope session, select the **Actions tab** and tap **Settings** under **JubileeTV Destinations**.

### 2. Check for Updates:

1. Navigate to the **About** tile.
2. Select "**Check for Updates**" to begin.

# App Version

Most mobile devices and browsers update the JubileeTV app automatically. However, you can manually trigger an update if you aren't seeing the latest features.

- **On Mobile:** Search for "JubileeTV" in the **App Store (iPhone) **or **Google Play Store (Android)**. If an "Update" button is visible, tap it to install the latest version.
- **On a Browser:** If an update is available while you are using JubileeTV, simply **refreshing your browser** will prompt the system to install the latest version.

For details on the current versions of the Console firmware and app software, see [2026](docId\:WstXk6mmZzqUg4ZYdTbsy). Note that Console updates are **deployed in batches over the course of 2-3 weeks**. This means some users get access to new features before others. 

### Console

To see your current Console version, go to **Settings** -> **About** on the Console. See instructions above for accessing Console settings.

### App

To see the current app version:

1. Open the Account Menu from the **three dots (⋯) **in the top right corner of the App.
2. Select **My Profile**. The current app version is listed on the **bottom of the screen**.
