Drop In

Overview
The Drop In feature allows JubileeTV App users to instantly access the JubileeTV Console's camera and microphone. It provides a quick, seamless way to check in on the TV User's environment without initiating a full Video Call or AutoConnect Video Call.

How It Works
When a JubileeTV App User starts a Drop In session, they will immediately see the video feed and hear the audio from the JubileeTV Console.
- One-Way Connection: Drop In is strictly one-way. The TV User will not hear or see the app user. (If you need two-way communication, use a standard Video Call or AutoConnect Video Call instead).
- Discreet Checking: The TV User does not receive an on-screen notification that a Drop In is active. However, the 4th LED light on the Console will turn green to indicate the camera is in use.
- Console Selection: Drop In connects to a single Console at a time. If your Membership includes multiple JubileeTV Consoles, you must select which one you want to drop in on.
- Microphone Options: While using Drop In, you can easily toggle between listening through the Console's built-in microphone or the microphone on the JubileeTV remote.
Important Note: If the JubileeTV Console's physical camera cover is closed, the camera will still turn on during a Drop In session, but the video feed will be completely blocked.
