# Overview

The newer Dish cable/satellite set-top boxes that use the remotes pictured below have a an **IR (Infrared) reception **setting that must be turned on for the JubileeTV Console to control them.

# Instructions

**IMPORTANT: **You will need to use your Dish remote (one of the remotes pictured above) to change settings on your Dish Box.

1. Press the **Home** button on your **Dish remote**.
2. Navigate to **Menu** -> **Settings** -> **Remote Control**
3. Scroll to the bottom and turn on **Infrared Reception**.
4. When you're done turning on the infrared reception setting, press the **green check** button on the **JubileeTV remote** to proceed to testing control.
