# The Issue

With select Dish cable and satellite set-top boxes, the box itself fails to respond when the Channel Up/Down buttons are pressed on the JubileeTV remote.

# The Solution

To resolve this, build a [Favorites](docId:05hmDMogl4tjCsRkUK9-x) list for the TV End User and enable the [Favorites Only CH Up/Down](docId:05hmDMogl4tjCsRkUK9-x) setting. This approach not only resolves the communication issue between the remote and the Dish box, but it also creates a cleaner, more personalized viewing experience by ensuring the remote only cycles through the channels they actually watch.
