When switching TV's you must update the configuration on the JubileeTV Console. Proper setup ensures your remote works correctly, the picture resolution is optimized, and the system accurately knows if the TV is on or off.

### Step 1: Physical Setup

Before changing the software settings, ensure the hardware is connected properly:

1. **Disconnect: **Unplug the old TV
2. **Video:** Connect an HDMI cable from the **Console’s HDMI Output** to any **HDMI Input** on your new TV.
3. **Power:** Plug the TV’s power cable into the **JubileeTV Smart Plug**, then plug the smart plug into a wall outlet.
4. **Source:** Use the remote that came with your new TV to switch to the HDMI input you used in the first step.

### Step 2: Access the Settings Menu

**Open Settings: **

- On the JubileeTV remote, press the **GUIDE **button three times, then press the **blue J **button once.
- If your JubileeTV is connected to the internet then, on the JubileeTV remote, press and hold the Orange voice button and say "settings".
- You can also **access Console Settings via Telescope** by starting a Telescope session, selecting the **Actions tab** and tapping **Settings** under **JubileeTV Destinations**.

### Step 3: Configure the New TV

Once the settings menu is open on your screen, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to and select the **Devices** tile.
2. Select **HDMI Out** (this displays your current TV configuration).
3. Choose **"Reset TV Configuration"** and follow the onscreen prompts to pair your new television.
