If you are experiencing **"choppy" video calls** or delays in **Telescope** or **Drop In**, the issue is often a weak internet connection on either the App or the Console side. For these features to work as designed, a connection of **at least 5 Mbps upload and download speed** is required.

This guide focuses on fixing the connection for the **JubileeTV App.**

# Phase 1: Check Your Network Quality

First, let’s measure your current connection strength.

1. Follow the instructions in **Testing Network Quality: **[Running a test from the App](docId\:KnmL6ccMZTX6ZhPi4efvz)
 - If your results show less than **5 Mbps (upload/download)**, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

# Phase 2: Fixing Poor Network Quality

If your speeds are low, try these steps to boost your connection:

## 1. Move Closer to the Router

Walls, floors, and furniture can block Wi-Fi signals. Moving to the same room as your internet router is the fastest way to improve your upload and download speeds.

## 2. Close Background Apps

Other apps can "hog" your bandwidth, even if you aren't actively using them.

- **Mobile/Tablet:** Swipe up and close apps like YouTube, Netflix, or social media.
- **Computer:** Close extra browser tabs and quit programs like Zoom, Teams, or Dropbox that may be running in the background.

## 3. Toggle Your Wi-Fi

Sometimes a device gets "stuck" on a weak signal. Turn your device's Wi-Fi **OFF**, wait five seconds, and turn it back **ON**. This forces the device to find the strongest available connection point.

## 4. Switch from Cellular to Wi-Fi (Mobile Only)

If you are on a cellular connection (4G/5G), your speed can fluctuate depending on your distance from a cell tower. Whenever possible, connect to a stable Wi-Fi network for video calls.

## 5. Restart Your Device

If your speeds are still low after trying the steps above, a simple restart can often clear out software glitches that are slowing down your network performance.
